WHY IS THE SALVATION ARMY CONCERNED WITH PRISONERS AND THEIR FAMILIES?

The Salvation Army Correctional Ministry.

There are at least two good reasons why Salvationists are concerned with the incarcerated & their families. One, it is the expectation of our Lord Jesus Christ; and two, it was the vision of our founder. William Booth had a deep sympathy and compassion for people paying the penalty for law violation by serving time in prison.
