On September 1, 2020, the 26 cadets that make up the Messengers of Reconciliation arrived at the CFOT as strangers from all over the Eastern Territory. We come from all different backgrounds and walks of life; however, we all have one thing in common – we have all been called to serve God as Officers in The Salvation Army. God’s faithfulness has brought us together “for such a time as this.”
For the next two years, we will learn and grow together as a session. We will learn what it means to live out our session name of “Messengers of Reconciliation” and our session verse, 2 Corinthians 5:18. We have quickly grown from session mates to friends and now family. “The best part of life is when your family becomes your friends and your friends become your family.” We know that these two years will go quickly, but we look forward to the memories we will make during our time here at the CFOT.
