According to the USDA, more than 38 million people in the United States are food insecure. The pandemic has increased food insecurity among families with children, with nearly 12 million children facing hunger.

Emergency Food Pantries, Soup Kitchens, and other feeding initiatives are offered through our Corps Community Centers to help those facing food insecurity for themselves and their families.

Our local programs, which aim to address and end food insecurity, are listed below.

Second Harvest

Food insecurity and hunger are still a harsh reality for many struggling families in Lebanon. With our Second Harvest program, we provide food to families in need twice a month. This program is open September through May.

Senior Boxes

Our Senior Boxes provide food for seniors that qualify all year round.
