Every year, parents must choose between giving their children gifts or paying bills. Individuals facing poverty often spend the holidays without the warmth of a shared meal or even a support system.
The holidays bring added financial and emotional stress to families and individuals living in poverty. From gifts for children in need to special meals for those who would otherwise go without fellowship on the holidays and meeting other basic needs - we aim to bring joy back into the season.
Christmas Assistance Sign-up Dates
At The Salvation Army of Pittsfield, 298 West Street, Pittsfield, MA
One person per family! Please do not bring children. Bring your parent ID, address, income, and proof of child's age and guardianship.

Christmas Distribution Dates
Partnering with The Berkshire Eagle, The Salvation Army is offering Santa Fund to families. Two children per family will receive a gift card to Walmart.
Our distribution is happening Monday, December 18 and Tuesday, December 19.
