We exist to meet human needs wherever, whenever, and however we can through programs that serve the mind, body, and soul.

Where do we serve?

Currently, we serve the communities of Bogota, Hackensack, Maywood, River Edge, South Hackensack and Teaneck.

The Salvation Army feeds an average of 156,000 every single day in the U.S.

In addition to addressing the immediate symptoms of food insecurity, our programs are designed to help identify and treat its root cause. This approach focuses on meeting the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of each person and helps move many from hungry to fully healed.

Bible Message

Traditional Sunday morning worship combines music, Scripture, prayer, and preaching to honor God and serve as a time of reverence and reflection on the Holiness of God. Due to COVID-19 we are currently posting Bible Messages on our Facebook page every Sunday at 10 AM.

Conversational Spanish & English (online)/Español & Ingles Conversacional (en linea)

Twice a week we offer English and Spanish language classes. Our Spanish class runs from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. Our English class runs from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays as well.

Seasonal Programs:

Every winter we host a Christmas Food Basket Distribution to provide food for those in need. We also host Christmas Toy Distribution which provides toys for children during the holidays.

Spring

Youth Councils provides an opportunity for young people to join together in a weekend of fellowship and spiritual development. Men's Camp is an annual event in which men from around New Jersey gather together for a time of worship and fellowship.

Summer
