Head Pastor Of NJ Salvation Army Citadel Walks 26 Miles To Bring Attention To Homelessness

From WCBS Newsradio 880: Major Brett DeMichael, from the Montclair Citadel, planned a route through Montclair and Glen Ridge to bring attention to homelessness in the relatively affluent area.

“It may not look it, particularly in this neighborhood we’re walking through right now, but the reality is that there is homelessness, there’s hunger, and we see it every day,” DeMichael said. “We know that the need is here to serve the population. That’s what the Salvation Army is and that’s what we do.”
