We serve the Ocean County Community
We exist to meet human needs wherever, whenever, and however we can through programs that serve the mind, body, and soul.
Where do we serve?
The Salvation Army of Ocean County serves the communities of Bayville, Beachwood, Island Heights, Lavalette, Ocean Beach, Ocean Gate, Ortley Beach, Pelican Island, Pine Beach, Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, South Toms River, and Toms River. As a Corps Community Center, our mission is to preach the gospel of Christ Jesus with our arms outstretched to suffering humanity.
The Salvation Army feeds an average of 156,000 every single day in the U.S.
In addition to addressing the immediate symptoms of food insecurity, our programs are designed to help identify and treat its root cause. This approach focuses on meeting the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of each person and helps move many from hungry to fully healed.

The Salvation Army in Ocean County holds a worship service every Sunday at 10 AM followed by Sunday School at 11:30 AM. Join us in fellowship as we spend time in worship and prayer.
Hearty Helpings is a community meal that is served as take out on Thursdays starting at 4:15 PM.
The Salvation Army Home League is one of the largest organizations for women in the world. We are privileged to welcome new members into this fellowship. Home League emphasizes worship, service, education, and fellowship.
The Salvation Army is one of the largest providers of music education in the U.S., trailing only the public school system. We offer band at 6:00 PM on Wednesdays.
Bible study is an opportunity for fellowship as we dive into the Word. Please call for more information.
