The Salvation Army of East Cleveland to Host Pet Vaccination Events
What: The Salvation Army of East Cleveland and the Cleveland APL will offer vaccinations to an estimated 150 dogs and cats in Cleveland and East Cleveland. And the City of Cleveland Animal Care and Control, in partnership with Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland, will offer microchips for dogs.
Who: Captains Travis and Zuheil Barton, Commanding Officers of The Salvation Army in East Cleveland Bryana Polen, Project Care Manager at the Cleveland APL **Individuals from each entity will be available from 2 pm to 5 pm for media interviews**
Why: Free vaccines provided by Petco Love will be administered to the pets of residents in Cleveland and East Cleveland who need vaccinations. Microchips will be administered by the City of Cleveland Animal Care and Control for any dogs needing chips. The Cleveland APL will also host a follow-up clinic on August 17th from 2 pm to 5 pm at The Salvation Army in East Cleveland for pets that need follow-up boosters or additional vaccinations.
