Volunteers to help pack thousands of toys at The Salvation Army Toy Worshop

What: The work to give with joy through Christmas Cheer is in full force with The Salvation Army in Greater Cleveland. This week, multiple corporate and community volunteer groups will roll up their sleeves to support The Salvation Army in packing toy bags for over 6,300 children across Cuyahoga County.
Who: Captains Joel and Kathleen Ashcraft- Area Commanders, The Salvation Army in Greater Cleveland
Why: The Salvation Army in Greater Cleveland has a long-standing Christmas program to support families with children from birth to age 12 with toys. The organization will also provide families with a gift card to help purchase food for a Christmas meal. In 2025, The Salvation Army reported an 8% increase in the number of children to be served over 2024.
