Introduction:
Since 1886, The Salvation Army has been serving the Wadsworth community’s spiritual, physical, and social needs. Today, our programs and services are growing, touching more lives than ever before. To meet this rising need, we're launching an initiative to double our current facility's capacity—an expansion that will allow us to say "yes" to more families, serve more meals, and create more pathways to transformation for our neighbors in need.

Highlighted Features of the Facility
The new Wadsworth Salvation Army facility will transform our community impact by consolidating all our services under one roof. These enhancements will help us meet the growing needs of our community and provide a larger and welcoming center for care, support and worship.

  • Expanded social service operations
  • Expanded community room and storage space
  • Expanded chapel
  • New Learning Center for school aged children
  • Increased food area and kitchen
  • Increased parking

Help us reach our goal of 3.5 million

The capital campaign goal is to raise $3.5 Million to fund expenditures for the renovations and expansion of the existing facility.

Projected Total Costs (2025 Dollars) is $3.5 Million.

  • Existing facility renovation and expansion (chapel, offices, community room, kitchen and storage)
  • Site preparation and construction of onsite location for the Center for Education (including Care Team, G.E.D Services, Learning Center and Summer Learning Center)
  • Furnishings, fixtures and equipment
  • Professional fees (architecture, engineering, testing, inspection and fund development)
