The Northern New England Region Has Been Affected by Human Trafficking

.  According to the National Human Trafficking Hotline, 20% of calls represent Maine, New Hampshire & Vermont.

How we help fight for justice

The Salvation Army Bath-Brunswick dreams of a world where all people are free and supported, rendering human trafficking unable to exist. We will make this a reality in our community through preventative education and direct support to survivors.

The Bath Salvation Army believes that every victim and survivor of human trafficking is cherished, respected, original, worthy, needed, and strong.  Because of this, the Bridges to Blessings program aims to provide:  Prevention, Education, and Advocacy.

The Bridges to Blessings program provides support to victims and survivors through a coordination of services for victims.  Survivors and victims are also provided with spiritual and emotional support as well as assistance with basic needs.

Education is key to fighting trafficking.  The Bridges to Blessings program provides community trainings that will help residents of Maine to identify the signs of trafficking and share practical safe steps in combating trafficking.  Training is provided to any community group in the Bath/Brunswick area.
