The Kind Family Resource Center

Stop by for a Visit | Mon to Fri - 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

The Kind Family Resource Center is where The Salvation Army is in it's truest form. A place of help, of giving, and care when needed. The better question is 'what don't we do'!? Conveniently located at the entrance to the Kroc Center, this in-house program refers and/or assists individuals with a myriad of concerns and needs.

We offer emergency food, budget/fiscal counsel, nutrition information and we coordinate the Wells Fargo Financial Planning classes that are conducted at the Kroc [for people of all ages – youth, teens, adults, Golden]. We offer Holiday assistance, and pastoral care referral to our on-site pastoral care team. The Kind Family Resource Center conducts a free GED class Mondays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm for persons age 18 and above. The Kind Family Resource Center also serves as the registration point for families who wish to enroll their children in our Summer Day Camp and Homework Zone. The Kind Family Resource Center is the point of access/host to our partner schools, in particular: Wissahickon Charter and PA School for the Deaf. Any Questions? Call Miss Theresa at 215 558 1500
