Kroc Center Policies

We strive to make sure each visitor to our Center has an enjoyable and safe experience.

Kroc Membership & Visitor Guidelines

Thank you for taking time to become familiar with our rules of conduct. As a family-friendly environment, the center does not condone the use of inappropriate language or tolerate conduct that does not support our Christian-based mission.

  • All membership plans (Individual and Household) must meet age and residence requirements, as stated on the current Kroc Center membership application.
  • Your bar-coded member ID tag is specific to each individual member and is not transferable; a $5 fee is required for replacement tags, and those attempting to allow others entry on their membership may have their membership revoked.
  • Guests are offered entry only when accompanied by an active adult member. Each adult guest 18 and older must provide a current physical ID. Members are responsible for the conduct of and must always be present with their guests.
  • The following age restrictions are strictly enforced throughout the Kroc:
    • Minors age 12 and under are required to have parent/guardian supervision while participating in Kroc activities, unless such activities are scheduled and supervised by Kroc Center staff - proper program sign-in/out is required for all minors. Minors not meeting this requirement will be asked to vacate the premises.
    • Minors under age 13 are not permitted in the fitness areas and may not participate in the center’s group exercise classes.
    • Minors between ages 13-17 must complete the smart start orientation program to gain access to the fitness areas.
    • Minors under age 18 are not permitted in the hot tub.
    • For those under the age of 7, we strongly enforce a 1:3 adult to child ratio across the Kroc Center campus. This policy includes entry as a guest.
  • Cell phone use is not permitted in the locker rooms or in our exercise areas (fitness and aquatics); please limit cell phone conversations to the center’s common areas.
  • Opposite gender individuals (all ages) are NOT permitted in our single sex locker rooms; please use our family changing facilities, as needed.
  • Soap and water shower are required prior to entering all bodies of water (includes hot tub).
  • Proper swim attire is required in all bodies of water and does not include common street wear (T-shirts, shorts, etc.). Also, swim attire may not be worn outside of our pool and locker room areas. Please refrain from wearing street shoes on our pool deck.
  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted on our campus.
  • The Kroc Center is a tobacco, alcohol, drug and weapon free campus.
  • The Kroc Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items. All items should be secured in a locked locker while on the premises. Cell phone lockers for all valuables are located outside of our fitness areas on both the first and second floors.
  • Lost & found areas. Clothes, towels, shoes, etc. are not stored; items left in lockers at the end of each day will be removed and donated to charity).

The Salvation Army Kroc Center requires all changes to members’ accounts in writing, with signatures of both the member (this includes the member under whose financial account changes are made) and an authorized staff member. Membership upgrades provide an individual member with the opportunity to add qualifying, household members to his/her account; these changes will likely require payment of a prorated portion of monthly dues and a $35 upgrade fee, when appropriate. Downgrades to membership (removing a household member from the account) require advanced written notice of cancellation, and members that cancel their memberships are required to pay the prevailing enrollment fee upon return

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is dedicated to providing a place of belonging to all members of the community no matter their ability to pay. Our scholarship program is critical in achieving this goal. When you make a contribution to our scholarship program, you are giving individuals and families hope and opportunity for the future.

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship feel free to use our Scholarship Request Application, or speak with one of our Member Service Associates at the Welcome Desk.
