Meet the Ministry Team

Majors Demetrius & Juanita Stanford
Senior Pastors

Having been Christians for some time, Major Juanita and her husband, Demetrius, became members of The Salvation Army, being drawn to serve in the Army’s social service ministry. Feeling called by God to full time ministry, the Stanfords and their young family went to The Salvation Army School for Officer Training in Suffern, New York. There, they completed their education and ordination as Salvation Army Officers/Pastors in 1999. As Officers, Majors Demetrius & Juanita served for 19 years in Northeast Ohio: Cleveland Hough, East Akron, Twinsburg, Portage County, East Cleveland and Cleveland Miles Park. In 2018, they were appointed as the Congregational Life Officers of the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Philadelphia, PA.
