CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE APPROACHING AT THE SALVATION ARMY

Nov 7, 2025

CLEVELAND, OH (November 7th, 2025) – The Salvation Army in Greater Cleveland is dedicated to making this holiday season special for thousands of children and families in need by ensuring presents find their way under the Christmas tree. The Salvation Army will close registration for Christmas Assistance on November 14th at 11:55 pm.

If your family needs Christmas help for children aged 12 and younger, you're warmly invited to register at any of the Cleveland Salvation Army Corps Community Centers. To make it easier for everyone to access help, the Salvation Army’s Christmas Assistance program now also offers a simple online application at SAAngelTree.org.

“Christmas is such an important time in a child's development. We have seen that having a toy to open on Christmas morning can boost a child’s self-esteem, academic performance, and social interactions. We are excited to introduce a new online format to expand the support we can offer in Cuyahoga County,” stated Captain Joel Ashcraft, Area Commander of The Salvation Army in Greater Cleveland.

After registering for the program, families will be assigned a date and time to pick up toys. Last year, the Christmas Distribution program aided over 2,700 families and supplied toys to more than 5,900 children.

Christmas registration will be available in person from:
