The Salvation Army to ring the bell at The Chronicle

ELYRIA — The Salvation Army of Elyria will have the Red Kettle at The Chronicle-Telegram's offices at 225 East Ave. beginning this morning at 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. for the Red Kettle Challenge.

Elyria Salvation Army Capt. Tracy Knappins said the Elyria chapter was challenged by National Salvation Army Commissioner Kenneth Hodder to raise funds as part of the national campaign to raise more than $1.5 million in a single day.
