The Salvation Army Homewood-Brushton Worship & Service Center is located at 8020 Frankstown Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15221. Our regular office hours are Monday to Thursday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. On Sundays we open only for church services starting with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and followed by the Holiness Meeting at 11 a.m. All are welcome to join us in our different programs.

Programs & Services

  • Blessing Boutique: New clothing for children ages 5-18 years – Every 3rd Tuesday of the month (appointment is required)
  • Homewood Kids Art Day – Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Music & The Gospel Summer Day Camp – July 7-31, 2025, Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. ($100 per child or $25 per week). Scholarships are available upon request.
  • Camp Allegheny – Overnight Camp (ages 6-13)
  • Backpack Bash – (August) Clothing, food, haircuts/styles, Christmas sign-ups - Registration is required
  • The Master Builder Mentor Coalition – June 19th, 2025, Every Thursday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. for 8 weeks. This program is for males 13-17 years old and involves male mentoring, developing carpentry skills, and fellowship.
  • Produce and Baked Good Distribution – every 1st, 2nd, and 4th Tuesday at 1 p.m.
  • Food Bank – every 3rd Wednesday from 12 - 2 pm
  • Dollar Energy
  • Liheap applications available
  • Rental assistance when funding is available
  • Women Ministry – Tuesdays from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Older Adult Ministry – Thursdays from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. (meal included)
  • Men's Group – Every 4th Sunday at 1 p.m.

Prayer Meeting – Thursdays from 5 - 6 p.m.
Bible Study – Thursdays from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Sunday School – Sundays 10 a.m.
Sunday Worship – Sundays 11 a.m.
