Assists formerly houseless individuals in becoming self-sufficient

Welcome to Reed House

Reed House provides housing and supportive services to single adults with histories of drug and/or alcohol abuse, serious and persistent mental health issues, and physical disabilities. Our services are available to single adults who have lived in Philadelphia's emergency housing programs, transitional housing programs for homeless persons, those who come from institutions such as substance abuse treatment facilities and inpatient mental health programs. The program serves both men and women.

Our residential community is an environment dedicated to supporting individuals in achieving self-sufficiency. Our staff are compassionate and have a heart for helping the vulnerable population live independently.

 

Program Statement

The Salvation Reed House Supportive Services Program is geared to assist formerly homeless individuals become self-sufficient. This is achieved through a safe environment administered by a caring, compassionate, non-judgement and dedicated staff.

In order to achieve our goals of residential stability and increase skills and income, we offer the following services:
