Kids Deserve Compassion

We equip youth for today and empower them for life

Donate Now

The Salvation Army ensures kids are equipped with the tools they need to succeed, which starts by meeting their basic needs.

We take a holistic approach by providing programs with life-long impact such as character-building programs, summer camp opportunities, after-school education and more. At the core of all that we do for youth, fighting for them is synonymous with sharing God's love and grace.

Before & After School Care

The Salvation Army Levittown Corps Community Center provides a safe, fun and comfortable atmosphere for school age children from K-5 grade. We mostly service Brookwood and Millcreek elementary schools, but we are open to including other schools.

A little about our program:

We open our doors at 7:00 AM. Students are offered breakfast from 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM. During breakfast we have a wide variety of Board Games, Action Figures, Barbies, Air Hockey, Xbox, Playstation, T.V., Karaoke, Art & Crafts, Books, etc. We have everything your child loves to do at home right here. After breakfast is over, we play in the gym or on our exceptional playground, if the weather is nice. This will give your child a great start to their day. At 8:45 AM, we leave The Salvation Army to drop students off at school. All students will be dropped off to teachers and watched while walking into their school.

When school ends we will be there to pick up your child and bring them back to The Salvation Army building. When your child arrives at the building, the first thing we do is play. Your child has been working hard all day learning and needs to stretch their legs and laugh for a bit. After everyone has run off some built up energy, we have snacks and help with homework. We have four adults who are here to help with any question your child may have about school. Once your child is done homework, they can jump right back into playing.

We do not charge extra for days off, two hour delays, or half days. Extra fees may apply for field trips and teacher work shops.

  • Morning Session: $60 per week/$220 per month
  • Afternoon Session: $60 per week/$220 per month
  • Morning & Afternoon: $120 per week/$440 per month
  • 5% discount for second and third child.

Youth Sports Programs

The Salvation Army of Levittown Corps offers several youth sports programs where boys and girls, ages 4 to 10, can participate in basketball and soccer. All programs encourage success and help kids to develop good sportsmanship, learn various skills, and improve their individual performance levels.

Contact Fitzroy Jacobs for more details.

Summer Camp

For our Summer Day Camp, we take weekly trips, go swimming, do arts and crafts, and play sports. We have all the best toys, arcade games, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and so much more. Campers enjoy running and playing on our two-level playground, baseball field, large grounds, and air-conditioned gym. Contact Lori Evan for more details.

Each year, we enable thousands of children from low-income families to enjoy fresh air, exercise and new friendships through our annual summer camp programs. Learn about Camp Ladore.

Boys & Girls Community Programs

All young people (grades 1-12) in the community are welcome to attend our youth programs which begin in September of each year. Each program begins with a meal at 5:00 pm and then activities run from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Tuesdays during the school year.
