Our programs are specialized to help heal the mind, body and soul for adults in every stage of life.
We seek to be a leader in evangelism, ministry and service for older adults, address changing needs, and engage them in significant roles of service. We partner with adults by connecting them with tools and resources to help them through any life struggle. Our services include educational, spiritual and skill-based programs. We give people a whole army of support, so they are not alone.
Engaging the minds and bodies of older adults (ages 55 and older) helps keep them young, active and happy. The Salvation Army Central senior program allows older adults to take educational classes, create friendships over lunch, and engage in devotionals and countless other activities every Tuesday - Thursday from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Adults primarily make up our volunteer workforce. Do you want a place where you can help other people? Do you need a place to belong? No matter your age - whether working full time, between jobs, or retired - we have a place for you. Stop by our local Salvation Army or look for volunteer opportunities.
We not only meet physical needs, but we heal souls through our spiritual ministry – by sharing the love of Jesus Christ and the promise of salvation. We want to help you explore what it means to have a personal relationship with God. Our Salvation Army Worship and Service Center is a church home to many on Sundays, but we also offer men's and women's Bible studies during the week, group prayer meetings, pastoral counseling and even special group counseling for those facing similar hardships.
