We open our arms and our hearts to give families the support they need to grow together and thrive.

At The Salvation Army in Pottstown, we ensure that the basic needs of families are met so that they can develop together in a healthy fashion. We meet these needs through social services for those who need it.

The Salvation Army helps families thrive through:

Permanent Supportive Housing

We want to help people find a place to call home. When you need a more long-term solution, one of our permanent housing facilities may be a better fit. This is an extension of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and anyone seeking this service should also call 211.

Health and Wellness Referrals

We offer Health and Wellness Referrals for anyone who is struggling with medical issues or lacks medical coverage. We do not offer these services in-house. Please call (610) 326-1621 for more information.

Pottstown Works

  Pottstown Works is a program that is designed to bring people out of poverty by helping them to overcome barriers to work. Learn more here.

Pathway of Hope (POH) uses an intensive, client‐centered case management approach to empower families and address root causes preventing them from becoming more self‐sufficient. Learn more here.
