Each year, The Salvation Army provides over 10 million nights of shelter to those in need
Donate NowYou are not alone, The Salvation Army is here for you.
Sometimes life does not turn out how we planned. Our emergency housing options in Pottstown can help. At The Salvation Army, we have an open door policy when it comes to those needing help with housing—whether they need a place to rest their head at night or assistance finding a way to stay in their own home.
Homelessness can happen to anyone — single men, single women, entire families, the elderly, young adults, and even children. No one population is exempt. Any one of us could be a cancer diagnosis, financial crisis, or house fire away from needing aid. That's why our doors are always open, and we embrace all who walk through them. The Salvation Army offers permanent, supportive and transitional housing, as well as shelter programs to keep individuals and families safe off the streets.
Booth-Lesig Family Residence
The Salvation Army Booth-Lesig Family Residence provides emergency shelter for families year-round. The Booth-Lesig Family Residence serves 11 families and up to 44 occupants. Each family is provided their own room while each floor shares community bathrooms. Anyone seeking shelter in Montgomery County should call 211.
Permanent Supportive Housing
We want to help people find a place to call home. When you need a more long-term solution, one of our permanent housing facilities may be a better fit. This is an extension of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and anyone seeking this service should also call 211.
