ServSafe Training

Mar 21, 2025

Recently we hosted a ServSafe training through our certified instructor, Erik Johnson, from our Divisional Headquarters in Philadelphia. Being ServSafe trained means an individual has completed a food safety training program administered by the National Restaurant Association and passed a certification exam, demonstrating knowledge of food safety practices to prevent foodborne illnesses. Erik provided training for staff, advisory board members, corps members, women’s auxiliary, and volunteers. Each participant completed their exam and will be presented with a certificate upon passing the exam. Participants will assist us with multiple programs, including feed those in need on our mobile feeding canteen.
