Smiles Make the Greatest Gifts

Providing physical needs such as grocery, utility and gift assistance,
to emotional experiences including holiday events and traditions.

Every year, parents must choose between giving their children gifts or paying bills. Individuals facing poverty often spend the holidays without the warmth of a shared meal or even a support system.

The holidays bring added financial and emotional stress to families and individuals living in poverty. From gifts for children in need to special meals for those who would otherwise go without fellowship on the holidays and meeting other basic needs - we aim to bring joy back into the season.

Christmas Assistance Applications

October 1 -31 By Appointment Only - Call (315) 593-8442

Appointments will be held at The Salvation Army (62 S. 1st Street, Fulton, NY)

Assistance is for Christmas toys for children up to age 12 and a Christmas dinner package.

Individuals with no children may still register for a Christmas dinner.

Please Bring:

  • Photo ID for adults
  • Address verification for household
  • Birth certificates for all children

Please, if you've registered for assistance anywhere else, please do not apply so we may serve those truly in need
