$925,000 Raised From Tops Friendly Markets
The Salvation Army Empire State Division partnered with Tops Friendly Markets across the state to raise money through red kettles. Despite the effects of COVID-19, Tops and their customers were able to raise nearly $925,000 for The Salvation Army. With fewer volunteers and less hours to cover, Tops somehow managed to raise more funds this year than they had in the previous year.
"We are truly speechless and grateful for the tenacity of Tops and their volunteers," said Major Ivan Rock, Divisional Commander of The Salvation Army Empire State Division. "This year, more than ever, we really needed the funding to combat the consequences of the pandemic on families across our division."
Tops Friendly Markets and The Salvation Army have had a long-standing partnership for many years.
Thank you to Tops Friendly Markets!
