Thanksgiving and Christmas Sign Ups
“Arlington, Cambridge, Somerville and Medford Residents Only”
This year's sign-ups were held during the last week of October. If you missed this year's registration, please contact our office at (617) 547-3400.
Thanksgiving food baskets are for families. All others may join us on November 26 for our Thanksgiving service at 12:00 noon followed by dinner at 12:30 p.m.
Christmas sign ups are for families with children ages 12 and under.
The Salvation Army's mission shines brightest at Christmas.
We celebrate the birth of Christ by spreading His hope, love and joy to those who are hurting during the holidays and throughout the year. In fact, our services are a direct answer to God's calling to care for the poor, hungry, sick, and displaced.

Christmas Assistance
In many communities, you can organize a group to adopt a family in need and help them have a better Christmas celebration. Check with your local Salvation Army to see if they offer this program.
Children's Tree, Angel Tree, or Toy Shop
Whatever it's called in your town, it's meant to provide toys to kids who otherwise might not find anything under the tree on Christmas morning.
Thanksgiving Dinner
The Salvation Army helps bring people together for the holidays by providing everything needed for a traditional Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner at home and hot meals at our centers where hundreds gather.
Coats and winter gear for youth and adults
Contact our Salvation Army Corps if you are in need of a winter coat or other essential clothing.
