The Salvation Army of Cambridge provides shelter through:

Overnight Men's Shelter

The Salvation Army offers an overnight men's shelter in the heart of Cambridge. With every bed also comes a nutritious meal and a clean shower. Space is limited and varies daily. Please call us for more information: (617) 547-3400

Drop-in Day Shelter

No one should ever go a day without a meal or feel ashamed about asking for help. Beat the cold or the heat, charge your phone, and enjoy fellowship and a meal.

The Salvation Army's Drop-in Day Shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Continental Breakfast: Monday through Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
Soup Kitchen: Daily at 12 noon

Our partner Cambridge Health Alliance hosts an on-site clinic, offering dental, psychiatric, and medical assistance.

Cooling and Warming Shelters

The weather can be unpredictable. The homeless population is most vulnerable during the hottest and coldest months of the year. We occasionally open our doors to become a cooling or warming shelter to ensure the safety of these individuals when it's needed most. Please call in advance!
