Our Mission

Echelon seeks to mobilize the next generation for The Salvation Army by providing opportunities for young professionals to serve their community.
You're invited to engage with the organization through fellowship and networking, donations and fundraising, and service and volunteering.

Who we are

Echelon members participate in a variety of networking, volunteer, and fundraising activities. These activities directly support Salvation Army services within a chapter’s local community. You will find Echelon is a connected community full of people who are making a difference.

What we do

Echelon is the emerging professionals arm of The Salvation Army. The Echelon Boston Chapter is serious about having fun while addressing some of today’s most pressing issues within our local communities. You'll find us all over Boston, serving the community, hosting events, or fundraising for good.

Upcoming Events

2024 South End Thanksgiving Distribution

The Salvation Army remains on the frontlines of need, by providing assistance to struggling families throughout the entire year. Throughout the City of Boston, The Salvation Army was able to distribute thousands of Thanksgiving meals to households thanks to our generous donors in 2023. Echelon Boston sees the need in Boston's South End during Thanksgiving and helps package and distribute hundreds of meals for the community. Get involved!

When: Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.

Where: The Salvation Army South End Corps Community Center, 1500 Washington Street, Boston, MA

2024 Christmas Castle

Last year, The Salvation Army was able to distribute more than 12,000 gifts to over 4,000 households thanks to generous donors and volunteers like Echelon Boston. Echelon Boston will be back at The Salvation Army's yearly Christmas Castle to help register families and distribute toys. Make their holidays brighter, get involved today!
