Where do we serve?
The Salvation Army of Vineland is an inclusive community-friendly Corps that proudly serves Cumberland county.
The Salvation Army feeds an average of 156,000 every single day in the U.S.
In addition to addressing the immediate symptoms of food insecurity, our programs are designed to help identify and treat its root cause. This approach focuses on meeting the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of each person and helps move many from hungry to fully healed.
Traditional Sunday morning worship combines music, Scripture, prayer, and preaching to honor God and serve as a time of reverence and reflection on the Holiness of God. The mission of Sunday school is to develop Christ-like character in ordinary people through time-tested spiritual disciplines of Scripture study and memorization, prayer, and activities.
By supplying free fresh produce, canned goods, and healthy frozen items, our food pantries provide valuable meal supplementation while helping those in need to maintain their independence and dignity.
The Salvation Army Women’s Ministries is an International Fellowship of Women of all ages. It was inaugurated in 1907 to provide a wide range of activities based on these fourfold aims: Worship, Education, Fellowship, and Service.
Ministry groups provide opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship. The groups plan projects, events, retreats, and experiences to improve their communities and promote a closeness to God.
We offer ministry specifically for the elderly population. For more information or to get involved in our senior citizen's ministry please call (856) 696-5050.
Mid-week Prayer Service and Bible Study meetings are designed to be both spiritual and educational. This program offers weekly time to study God’s Word and learn practical applications for the Bible’s teachings. It also includes a time of spiritual encouragement through prayer for the needs of individuals, families, the church, and communities.
Our location offers a variety of social services including food distribution, pastoral care, adult and youth programs, Christmas assistance, and many others.
