What: 5K Run to kick off The Salvation Army Red Kettle Christmas Campaign
The Salvation Army of Northwest Ohio Area Services would like to invite the community to participate in the Eighth Annual 5K Run. This community and family friendly event will be held at International Park across the river from downtown Toledo on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
This race serves as one of the starting events to the Red Kettle Campaign Season. The Christmas Campaign raises awareness of year-round programs and raises critical funds to allow The Salvation Army Northwest Ohio to feed hungry hearts and souls, assist with utilities, help individuals and families stay in their homes, and meet critical and emergency needs of our neighbors during their time of need. Need knows No Season. All funds stay local, for local programs, to help local individuals and families.
