The Salvation Army in Orrville Host Open House on Saturday, September 18th
Orrville, Ohio – (September 17th, 2021): The Salvation Army in Orrville Service Center, located at 401 W. High St. in Orrville, is hosting a “Discover Day” for local residents to come explore their facility at the Maiwurm center. This open house style event will be on Saturday, September 18th from 11am to 1pm. Residents will learn about how The Salvation Army impacts the Orrville, local partnerships with Orrville Area United Way, and opportunities for volunteering.
“In 2020, The Salvation Army in Orrville served over 3,600 individuals through food & clothing assistance, rental & utility assistance, medical transportation, and prescription assistance. As the needs continue to grow in 2021, we would like to invite to community to see firsthand how we are supporting our Orrville community members,” stated Bethany Fuller, Executive Director of The Salvation Army in Orrville Service Center.
Saturday’s Open House event will take place outdoors at The Salvation Army’s parking lot behind the building. There will be free food, games for kids, prizes, and tours of the building and services available for all to enjoy!
