The Salvation Army offers Cooling Centers during excessive week-long temperatures
Cleveland, OH (June 18th, 2024) – The Salvation Army in Greater Cleveland will be opening its doors to serve as cooling centers and a place to provide shelter from the 90+ degree temperatures throughout the area. With excessive temperatures expected through the end of this week, The Salvation Army wants to offer a safe place for community members looking to get out of the heat. Those seeking relief from the heat will be provided with a cold refreshment and snack.
