We fight poverty with love

By providing programs that serve the body, mind and soul, The Salvation Army helps alleviate the symptoms of poverty - and works to address the root issues that cause it.

Rent Assistance

When you don’t know where the money for your next rent payment is coming from, check with your local Worship and Service Center to see if funding is available for rent assistance. This type of funding ebbs and flows, but if we can help, we will.

Utility Assistance

During a long, cold winter, your heat bill swells and you receive a notice from your energy provider that all utilities will be disconnected unless you can pay the overdue balance. Or, maybe a job loss forced you to choose between paying rent or paying your electric bill. You chose rent and just received an electric shut off notice. We can help.

Hot Meal Programs and Food Pantries

No one should ever go a day without a meal or feel ashamed about asking for help. That’s why many of our locations provide hot meals and free groceries year-round to anyone who needs them. For home-bound seniors, some areas even offer grocery delivery services.

Soup Kitchen

Our Community Soup Kitchen Entrance is in the back of our building. Doors open at 11:45 and a hot meal is served at Noon. Lunch is served until 1:00, however second servings begin at 12:30.

Most days, there is also a bread table where people are able to take bread home. We serve roughly 1,200 meals a month through our Soup Kitchen alone. This is just one of many ways that we are trying to “Do the Most Good” in our community.

All are welcome to join. We do not require a sign-in of any sort.

Monday - Friday | 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Emergency Shelter

Our shelter is more than just a roof over your head. Our staff works one-on-one with our residents in order to help them make the most out of their time with us.

We also make sure that our residents are served 3 meals a day (including a lunch with the Soup Kitchen). We serve over 1,000 meals in a given month.
