The Norwich Service Center will feature a Client Choice food pantry where those who are in need will be able to select their own groceries from a variety of options. The food pantry will be open Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
In addition to the food pantry, and depending on availability of funds, the Service Center will provide rent and utility assistance. The Service Center also offers summer camp at The Salvation Army’s Camp CONNRI in Ashford, CT for children ages 7-12.
The Norwich Service Center can refer those in need to local community programs that offer shelter, medical and dental assistance, or counseling. Clients also receive seasonal assistance from special back-to-school and Christmas partner programs.
