How we help Equip Families and Individuals
The Salvation Army offers a helping hand for those who need a little nudge. Helping in a practical way is how we believe we do the most good. The following programs are available to residents who are in need of emergency assistance:
We assist people during the week, including the most vulnerable of our communities.
Our Salvation Army food pantry provide groceries for families and individuals in need at no-charge to the clients.
We serve lunch the last full week, monthly from 11:30am-12:30pm.

We provide shower facilities for people in our community who struggle with homelessness or in water emergencies. Clients can come shower, and hygiene products from The Salvation Army.
Available Monday- Friday, 9am - 12pm, 1 - 3pm.
The Salvation Army in Findlay offers resources to help people in need with buying much needed prescription medications.

Every year, parents must choose between giving their children gifts or paying bills. Individuals facing poverty often spend the holidays without the warmth of a shared meal or even a support system.
From gifts for children in need to special meals for those who would otherwise go without fellowship on the holidays and meeting other basic needs - we aim to bring joy back into the season.
Utility Assistance
During a long, cold winter, your heat bill swells and you receive a notice from your energy provider that all utilities will be disconnected unless you can pay the overdue balance. Or, maybe a job loss forced you to choose between paying rent or paying your electric bill. We can help.
