Annual Telethon Returns to WTAE-TV Studios

What a day it was back IN PERSON at WTAE’s studio in Wilkinsburg for the 2024 WTAE-TV’s project Bundle-Up Telethon! Held from 5am-8pm on Friday, December 6th and was the first in-person, live television format since 2019. All day, volunteers from KeyBank, WTAE, the 911th Airlift Wing, Citizens Bank, Highmark, UPMC, Columbia Gas, The Salvation Army, Peoples Natural Gas, and representatives from The Salvation Army were eager to take over-the-phone contributions from generous donors calling in.

The day also included various check and award presentations from 84 Lumber, FedEx, GCU, PNC, Buncher, Citizens Bank, Williams, UPMC, Vector Security, First National Bank, Columbia Gas, Aetna, Peoples Natural Gas, Nemacolin, Monticello Lights, Aspinwall Pumpkin, KeyBank, and Michael Brothers Companies.

More than $350,000 was raised throughout the day for project Bundle-Up and the children and seniors that directly rely on the support from the program
