Student Designer Information

Designer Registration opens February 1, 2025

Registration closes April 15, 2025 (or when event is at capacity)

Registration is limited to:

• 6 middle school students
• 10 high school students
• 10 post-secondary/college students

Awards:

• $1000 post-secondary/college students
• $750 high-school students
• $200 middle school students
• $100 highest fundraiser

Runway Repurposed Fashion Show is an unconventional and upcycled materials fashion show!

We believe in the power of 2nd chances. Repurpose items that were otherwise destined for the landfill. This may include:

• Secondhand clothing
• Fabric scraps (not purchased new)
• Recycled materials
• Unconventional materials

Design for a Cause: As our designers provide a second chance to materials, the Family Caring Center provides a second chance to struggling families.
We encourage you to reach out to those that support your passion to raise additional funds to the Family Caring Center.
There will be a prize and recognition for the designer who fundraises the most.

The following is required in order to register:

• Registration fee of $125
• All Designers and Models: Upload Signed Photo Release
• Grades 6-12 ONLY: Upload Designer Permission Form, Model Permission Form
• Post Secondary ONLY: Upload Designer/Model Acknowledgement Form
• Photo of Designer/Design Team
• Photo of Design Supplies or Design Progress
• Explanation of the inspiration for your design
• Brief list of the materials you are using
