Smiles Make the Greatest Gifts

Providing much-needed assistance during the holiday season

Donate Now

Every year, parents must choose between giving their children gifts or paying bills. Individuals facing poverty often spend the holidays without the warmth of a shared meal or even a support system.

The holidays can bring added financial and emotional stress to families and individuals living in poverty. From gifts for children in need to special meals for those who would otherwise go without fellowship on the holidays and meeting other basic needs - we aim to bring joy back into the season.

The Salvation Army helps to make the holidays brighter:

Red Kettles

Our annual Red Kettle campaign is a cherished tradition and our largest fundraising event, embodying the true spirit of community giving. Through the generosity of donors and the dedication of our incredible volunteers, this program makes a meaningful impact for folks in need. We are always seeking individuals and groups to join us in ringing bells at our iconic red kettles—your support helps bring hope and assistance to those in need.

Angel Tree

The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program provides new clothing and/or toys for families in need. Each Angel Tree is decorated with angel tags with the first name, age, and gender of a child who is in need of a gift. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags. Families can apply for assistance during the fall.

You can make Christmas merry.
