At The Salvation Army, we ensure that the basic needs of families are met so that they can develop together in a healthy fashion. We meet these needs by providing personal care services, holiday assistance, as well as our Family Store.

The Salvation Army Empowers Families.

The Salvation Army's Family Services encompass a range of programs to help individuals and families overcome daunting obstacles. We are committed to serve the whole person, mind, body, and spirit with integrity and respect, using creative solutions to positively transform lives.

We strive to empower people and to enable those in need to change their circumstances and overcome the challenges that stand in their way.

Personal Care Programs

The Salvation Army Chambersburg offers a variety of personal care services so you can take care of yourself and your family.

Free laundry and shower services are available for all who need them.

Family Store

If you or your family are in need of clothing, household items, furniture, or other secondhand goods, our Family Store is open Monday - Saturday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Non-Custodial Supervised Visitation

A specialized program working with the court system that provides a safe space for non-custodial parents to visit their children where no contact with the other parent is made.
