The Salvation Army provides spiritual services to anyone God brings across our path
At its heart, The Salvation Army is a church. This foundation is what motivates us to do the work that we do.
We love God and serve others because of His love for all. That’s where our mission comes from – to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet needs in His name without discrimination. We want to introduce the love of God into the lives of those most in need, as we care for them physically, emotionally and spiritually. We do this by offering free prayer, Bible-based ministries for all ages, and Sunday worship.
The Salvation Army in Coatesville is a church to the local community, as well as place anyone in need can receive help with a wide range of social services.
Adult Bible Study
At The Salvation Army, we aim to teach God’s message through fellowship. Our Adult Bible Study is a lesson based program, where a chapter of the bible is explored each week. Participants are given a chance to ask questions and engage in conversation.
The bible lessons are designed to teach them how to break down the bible in a way that is easier to understand and practical to everyday solutions. Every participant goes home with new knowledge and all of their questions answered. This program is offered every week on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.
Sunday School
The Salvation Army is committed to teaching children of all ages the salvation and glory of God as well as building relationships within the body of Christ. Sunday school is both evangelistic and educational. Each class is designed through worship, spiritual scripture studies and prayer. Everything is designed for the engagement of children and to help them ask questions in order to have an accountable relationship with God. Sunday school takes place every Sunday at 10:00 AM.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer we offer the opportunity for children living in Coatesville to attend our weeklong Vacation Bible School program. We hold this program at The Salvation Army of Coatesville, where we have children from 6 to 12 years old participate in various activities that allow them to experience God through a new lens.
Children are given the chance to worship, listen to bible stories, do arts and crafts, go on field trips, and so much more. The Salvation Army of Coatesville covers lunch and field trips so every child has the opportunity to attend and experience this life-changing program designed for them.
Sunday Worship
Whether church is already part of your life or you are experiencing faith for the first time, you are always welcome.
Every Sunday at 11:15 AM.
