Kids Deserve Compassion

We equip youth for today and empower them for life

Donate Now

The Salvation Army ensures kids are equipped with the tools they need to succeed, which starts by meeting their basic needs.

We take a holistic approach by providing programs with life-long impact such as character-building programs, summer camp opportunities, music education and more. At the core of all that we do for youth, fighting for them is synonymous with sharing God's love and grace.

Junior Music Lessons/Groups

Mondays at 5:45 PM. All children ages 5 - 13. Small group lessons on brass instruments, keyboards; large group singing.  Lessons are free of charge.

Club 3:16

For any student in K-12. It meets at the East Stroudsburg Salvation Army on Wednesdays. Dinner is served at 5:30 PM; program goes to 7:30 PM. Students will partcipate in large group Bible study, do crafts, and end the day with recreation time in the gym.

Corps Cadets

Corps Cadets is a 5-year, hands-on, active Bible Study program designed for those in grade 7 or older.  Corps Cadets meet weekly on Fridays at 6:00 PM during the school year.

Youth Group

All teens (ages 13-18) are welcome to attend our weekly Youth Group meetings.  During the school year, we meet at 7:00 PM on Fridays. Along with fun and fellowship, our activities are often geared toward service.  We also hold several fundraisers throughout the year to help fund our annual spring trip to a youth retreat.

College Scholarships

Our local Salvation Army is fortunate to have received endowment monies specifically earmarked for scholarships to recognize students that are involved in community service.

Summer Camp

Every kid deserves the opportunity to socialize and play at Summer Camp. That's why The Salvation Army offers Camp Ladore, a weeklong stay in the Pocono Mountains where kids will make friends, participate in outdoor activities, and address their spiritual needs. For more information about Camp Ladore, visit their site here.
