This section provides answers to our most frequently asked questions about the East Stroudsburg Salvation Army. These questions and answers came from visitors like you. We hope you find them helpful and informative.

Q:  I have household items, other than non-perishable food, that I would like to donate. Can I drop them off? How can I obtain a receipt?
A:  All household goods must be brought directly to The Thrift Store (which is not us) at 285 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg. A receipt can be obtained at the front desk. Please call 570-464-8166 for more information.


Q:  I have household items that I would like to donate but I need The Salvation Army to pick them up.
A:  Please call 1-800-SATRUCK (728-7825) to arrange for a truck pick up. 


Q:  I have non-perishable food that I would like to donate to your Feeding Program.
A.   All non-perishable food can be dropped off at our Food Pantry from 9:00am - 2:00pm. Please call 570-421-3050, ext. 116 with questions.


Q:  What social services do you provide?
A:   Rental assistance, security deposits, utility assistance, emergency shelter, monthly food distribution, soup kitchen, Christmas toys, and Thanksgiving & Christmas food distribution. Learn more here.
