Summer Camp - 2023

Better known as our Summer Adventure Program,
we offer affordable and enriching experiences for
local kids in need.

Our Summer Adventure Program is an extension of The Salvation Army's mission. This experience has provided life-long, happy memories for hundreds of Rochester's youth. Our summer adventure program runs for 6 weeks, with a different theme and field trip/experience planned every week. Children who are 6 -12 years old are encouraged to attend!

2023 camp days run from June 26th -August 4th from 8:00am to 3:30pm.  Lunch is provided as part of the camp program, but children are welcome to bring their own from home. The cost is  $40/child per week – financial assistance is available.

We offer weekly field trips or visiting guests who teach, share and inspire our campers. We aim to offer as many experiences and adventures as possible. Join us as a camper, counselor, volunteer or sponsor!  

Registration dates are April 17 – June 12. Details are updated here frequently - visit this page again soon for more information as it becomes available.

$250 sends one child to camp for the whole Summer!

Help make a local kid's dream of camp a reality through our "Adopt-A-Camper" program.
Click below to donate $250 - you'll receive a letter from your camper and a picture of him/her having a great time this summer.  
 
PLUS! Adopt before 6/23 and you'll get this Sponsor Tee Sign placed at our Golf Tournament FORE Kids event.
Your business and family name will also appear on our event website and our printed event program.

***All four forms must be printed, completed and submitted for your child(ren) to be registered for our summer program. Paper copies are available at 100 West Ave Rochester, NY 14611.

To print each form: 

  1. Left click on each form above. A PDF should open.
  2. A gray toolbar should appear at the bottom of the form.  Click the printer icon to print.
  3. If the gray toodbar does not appear, click the blue "download" button in the right, top corner of the screen.
  4. a download box should appear in the lower, lefthand corner of your screen.
  5. Left click on the download to open.
  6. Right click on the document and choose "print" 
  7. Click the blue "print" button

Completed paperwork must be submitted in-person at 100 West Ave Rochester, NY 14611. Mailed in paperwork may not be received.
