We extend our hand of service to those in need who live in Boonton, Budd Lake, Denville, Dover, Flanders, Hibernia, Hopatcong, Kenvil, Lake Hiawatha, Lake Hopatcong, Landing, Ledgewood, Mine Hill, Montville, Mount Arlington, Mountain Lakes, Mount Olive, Mount Tabor, Netcong, Picatinny Arsenal, Randolph, Rockaway, Roxbury, Stanhope, Succasunna, Towaco, Victory Gardens and Wharton.

At this time only a photo ID and proof of address are required to access the Food and Diaper Bank.

Programs that require an application process include: Angel Tree Program, Utility Assistance and Rental Assistance.

Client must provide copies of the following documents:

  • Photo ID of all adults (18+) in the household (license or passport, etc.)
  • Birth certificates for all children
  • Proof of address (lease/rental agreement, utility bill, and/or notarized letter)
  • Proof of income (award letter, letter from employer, 1 month of pay stubs or notarized letter)

The Salvation Army of Dover offers a variety of services to our community.

 

We have a food pantry, diaper bank, and soup kitchen; we help with financial assistance for rent and utilities, temporary emergency lodging, and emergency vouchers for clothing, furniture, and prescriptions.

Referrals will be given for services that The Salvation Army Dover Corps does not provide.

 

 Food Pantry

Pet Pantry

Our food pantry is accessible once a month on Wednesdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. It is required to bring an identification each time of pick up.

For first time clients: We have parking at our facility. If you need help loading your car, we will help you! We are ramp accessible. Food packages vary depending on donations received but typically consist of: rice, beans, cereal, milk, canned fruit and vegetables, eggs and a frozen meat. 

Cat and dog food is distributed on the third Friday of the month starting at 10:30am through St. Hubert's. The Guinness Dunn Foundation provides additional cat and dog food for those accessing the food pantry. Please ask if you are in need!
