The Salvation Family Store:
The Salvation Army of Dover offers a variety of services to our community. Our social service program helps meet the basic needs of daily life. We have a food pantry, diaper bank, and soup kitchen; we help with financial assistance for rent and utilities, temporary emergency lodging, and emergency vouchers for clothing, furniture, and prescriptions. Referrals will be given for services that The Salvation Army Dover Corps does not provide.
Feeding the hungry warm meals on Fridays from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm from our canteen. Weather permitting.
Our food pantry is accessible once a month. Hygiene kits are provided upon request. Emergency food assistance is made available as per need.
Our diaper bank is provided through the Morris County Diaper Bank. It is accessible once a month. The sizes range from newborn to adult diapers. Please call ahead to make sure that we have the size you need available.
For help with pet food, the food bank provided through Saint Hubert’s is available at our location on the third Friday morning of the month. Schedule and weather permitting.
Our soup kitchen is accessible every Sunday after service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for those looking for a home-cooked meal.
