Adult Rehabilitation Center

ARCs can help those working to overcome alcohol and substance abuse by providing them with various tools for recovery such as AA, NA and work therapy program.

Family Thrift Store

TSA Family Thrift Stores are one of the main sources of income for our Adult Rehabilitation programs.

Camp Tecumseh

The Salvation Army’s Camp Tecumseh is located on almost 400 acres of rolling hills in rural Hunterdon County, NJ. Campers who visit each year are children, teens, senior citizens and U.S. Veterans who experience activities that encourage physical, emotional and spiritual growth.

Corps

Corps provide spiritual and emotional care and services ranging from worship services to community assistance programs including afterschool & music programs, food pantry, soup kitchen, shelter, emergency assistance. Corps serve their town and surrounding cities and is directed by an assigned Corps Officer.

Education

The Salvation Army operates education programs across NJ, serving children from 12 months to 13 years of age. These educational programs include early childhood, school-aged aftercare, summer camp, and ESL programs.

Emergency Disaster Services

When disaster strikes, The Salvation Army is one of the first organizations to have boots on the ground and one of the last to leave. These immediate response activities may include food and hydration services, shelter, cleanup and emergency communication assistance.

Human Services

The Human Services department is the social services arm of The Salvation Army. They provide a vast array of case management for Anti-human trafficking, Corps, Operation Red Shield, and Pathway of Hope.

Service Extension

Service Units extend the services of The Salvation Army to areas out of reach to the Corps. Service Units are operated via local volunteers and may provide year-round emergency assistance to the communities in their assigned service areas.
