Mohegan Sun, Mitchell College donate food to New London Salvation Army

The Salvation Army in New London, CT was overjoyed when they received over 12 pallets of food from both Mohegan Sun and Mitchell College. The donation consisted of fresh fruits, vegetables, yogurt and much more along.

“We had so much produce that we were able to share with other Corps in CT and RI, and also with the New London Community Soup Kitchen.” Captain Jose Borrero said, “As of today, with their donations we have been able to distribute more than 700 prepacked bags and expect to distribute more than 1000 more in the next week.”

In these unprecedent times, The Salvation Army Thanks those who have donated their time, treasure and talents.
