The Salvation Army brightens the Holidays through Red Boxes, Angel Trees, and Red Kettles.
Thousands of local families are facing poverty, hunger and job loss.
Can you help us Rescue Christmas for these local families?
The Salvation Army offers three ways for you to help-the Red Box food program, the Angel Tree toy program, and the iconic Red Kettle campaign. Please find more information about these programs below.
The Salvation Army’s Red Box Program provides local families in need with food for Christmas breakfast, a traditional turkey dinner and even a game for the family to enjoy. Last year more than 6,400 families received a Red Box full of food. The cost to feed an entire family is just $50. Give the gift of a full stomach this Christmas. Please donate today at SalvationArmyRedBox.org.
For more information please contact Shelley Brown-Kujkowski at 614.437.2145 or Shelley.Brown@use.SalvationArmy.org.
Companies, churches and other groups are needed to host an Angel Tree Toy Drive. Collected toys are distributed to local children through our Christmas Cheer program. Last year more than 12,000 children received new toys. SIGN UP HERE for a toy drive. CLICK HERE to view a list of toy suggestions.
Individuals can also request tags through the toy drive sign up or may simply make a purchase through our Walmart Registry for Good or our Amazon Wish List to have toys delivered directly to us to be distributed through our Angel Tree Program.

Help us cover over 20,000 hours of bell ringing at Red Kettles this season! The Red Kettles Campaign is The Salvation Army's single biggest fundraiser. Funds raised support year-round programming. We need individuals, volunteer groups, families, churches, and businesses to make the campaign a success. The campaign runs Monday to Saturday from November 13th through December 24th. Most kettles are out from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It's easy, fun and there are over 80 locations in Central Ohio from which to choose.
For more information on how you can adopt the kettle for an 8 or 4 hour shift, contact Kristin Hampton-Harmon at Kristin.Harmon@use.SalvationArmy.org. For additional information please download our Bell Ringing Guide.
Another way to support the Red Kettle effort is to host a virtual/online kettle. Friends, family and colleagues can donate to your kettle from their keyboard or phone.
