We give families their loved ones back

Our rehabilitation programs are different from others- they're free, holistic, and help heal the root causes of prolonged alcohol and drug dependence.

The Salvation Army has been helping those battling substance abuse since our founding over 150 years ago. Today, we are continuing this pledge of helping people recover with holistic help at our Adult Rehabilitation Centers. Our programs include emotional, spiritual and social services components that focus on the root causes of the struggle. We understand that every person's addiction is different, and has a devastating impact on family and friends - both emotionally and economically - so our programming is always offered at no-cost to our beneficiaries.

"If I Hadn't Come to The Salvation Army, I'd Surely Be Dead Now."

Thomas came to The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center with just the clothes on his back after an attempted suicide. “I’ve found peace, I’ve found God, I’ve found serenity, I’ve found life back.” The daily work routine of the program and integration of faith services allowed Thomas to keep his mind focused on recovery while rebuilding the foundation for his relationship with God. Thomas graduated the program in February 2019 and gained full-time employment.

Adult Rehabilitation Centers in Southwest Ohio

The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers provide spiritual, social and emotional assistance for men who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. Each center offers residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many of those who have been rehabilitated are reunited with their families and resume a normal life.
