We open our arms and our hearts to give families the support they need to grow together and thrive.

At The Salvation Army in York, we ensure that the basic needs of families are met so that they can develop together in a healthy fashion. We meet these needs through providing clothing, rental assistance, and other social services for those who need it.

The Salvation Army helps families thrive through:

Clothing Room

Our clothing room is well-stocked and is available to those in need. The clothing room is open Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Family Services

Our Family Services department works to ensure the needs of your family are met in every way necessary. These services include grocery assistance, budget review, prescription assistance, utility and rent assistance, and community referrals to other social service agencies.
